Ghanaian Pharmacists Association of Washington Metro
The Ghanaian Pharmacists Association of Washington Metro has been formed with the following objectives :-

Encourage professional development and leadership among members through networking and mentor-ship programs;

Organize health awareness events in the community to benefit members of the public especially Ghanaians;

Collaborate with other health-care professionals to deliver health-care and education to impoverished towns and villages in Ghana;

Collaborate with health institutions and pharmaceutical firms in the United States of America (USA) to deliver medical and pharmaceutical supplies to Ghanaian clinics;

Promote support systems for new graduates and Ghanaian pharmacists migrating to the USA;

Work with schools of pharmacy in Ghana on possible exchange programs; and
-
Keep the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana abreast on the latest emerging trends in Pharmaceutical Care in the USA.
The Association is open to all Ghanaian Pharmacists living in the USA and meetings are held at the Howard University School of Pharmacy in Washington.
